Apex Legends Emergence - Encore Arena

This arena presented a unique challenge of taking a design block in and merging it with a narrative request to tie it into our new character's backstory. Seer is from the planet Boreas, where its moon has been destroyed. The destroyed moon in the skybox was a key visual and Tu Bui delivered in spades. I was inspired by Burning Man festivals in the desert and had narrowed in on one image in particular that set the tone for our time of day. I also had reference of Saudi Arabia in the snow that I had been wanting to find a use for and this was my opportunity. The result is a condemned, theater venue in a RED ZONE on Boreas that is no longer hospitable due to its extreme climate shifts. Seer and the underground Arenas has used this abandoned venue for their own purposes...and it lives once again. ENCORE!
